Hi, I’m Ula Robertson Nuemann, and I am the chef and the owner of At Your Service NY Catering. Today, I will show you my version of a avocado jalapeno dip with a slight European twist. For the avocado jalapeno dip, you need two cut up avocados, two cloves of garlic chopped, one jalapeno chopped and seeds and membranes removed, about half a teaspoon of roasted poblano peppers chopped up, one onion, one spring onion, roughly chopped, one squeezed lemon or lime, salt and pepper to taste as well as oregano. There’s two avocados; they go in the food processor as well as the chopped up garlic, the jalapeno, the poblano and the poblano adds a nice smokey flavor to the, to the dish, some scallions, lime juice, salt, some freshly ground black pepper as well as some dried oregano. Oregano is one of my favorite spices, so I try to use this as much as possible. Instead or oregano, you could also use basil or thyme or a combination of those. So we will blend this together, and we take about a minute or so. And voila. Our dip is ready and should be really spicy; the jalapeno is in there. The poblano is in there. I am Ula Robertson Nuemann, and I just showed you how to make an avocado jalapeno dip.
